How much will my project cost?

The cost will depend on several factors: the type of text; the number of words or translation pages; the complexity of the text; formatting and deadline (if the job is urgent, an urgency fee will be charged). Send me your document for a free quote.

How long will it take to finish my translation?

The factors mentioned above also apply to this question.

What file formats do you work with?

I work with virtually any text file format, including DOC and DOCX, XML, HTML, PPT, XLS, PDF, TXT. Texts in image formats such as JPG, TIFF, PNG, GIF or non-editable PDF may incur an extra fee.

For subtitling and transcriptions, I work with video formats ASF, AVI, DivX, DV, FLV, M4V, MKV, MOV, MP4, MPEG, VOB and MVW and audio formats AIV, FLAC, M4A, MP2, MP3 and WMA.

Are your translations sworn translations?

I am a translator certified by NAATI, the National Certification Authority for Translators and Interpreters of Australia. NAATI is the national authority for accreditation and standardization of translators and interpreters in Australia. It is the only agency that issues certification for professionals who want to work in this profession in Australia. It represents the translation professionals and regulates the profession besides ensuring that translators comply with ethical principles and standards of the profession and keep their professional development.

The NAATI certification is recognized by the Australian and New Zealand governments, such as by the Commonwealth countries. Thus, translations made by a NAATI accredited translator are accepted by governments, government agencies, professional associations and educational institutions of such countries.

In some cases, however, institutions from other countries outside the Commonwealth may accept translations made by NAATI translators. Check this information with your institution and send me a quote request!
